My next task was to create a cover of a school prospectus. I went around taking pictures around the school of signs and mainly people working. Once the images were uploaded I used photoshop to create my front cover. I first used an image of the front of school for my background. I then selected other images and cropped them to fit the scale of the front cover. I feathered each of them so they would merge into the other images. I adjusted the brightness of each image to create a more professional look. I then added text to the layer to introduce what would be inside the prospectus. I made the background colour the same as the 'St Marks' sign to match the allignment and draw the readers eye towards the centre at the pictures. I used each picture to portray the ethos of the school. I used the medium shot of the people studying to portray a school which encourages individual study. I used the ariel shot of the group of students studying to show a sense of team work the school also encourages. Friday, 4 February 2011
